Night Skincare Routine

I have posted my morning skincare routine before, now it's the night version. It's not much of a different than my morning skincare routine and I don't use many products as well. I tend to keep it simple but enough to clean everything and good for my skin.

For the cleanser, I'm using the Shu Uemura Clensing Oil to clean my make-up and as well for my face wash. Back then before I buy this, I used Philosophy foaming face cleanser and I used two bottles until I change to this.

Figuring out the night skincare routine is also quite hard, I need to find a good skincare that can give my skin great nutritions while I'm asleep.

The products I'm using for my night skincare routine are:
  • Shu Uemura Porefinist Cleansing Oil
  • SKII Facial Treatment Essence
  • Clinique All About Eyes Serum
  • Shiseido Ibuki Moisturizer

First of all, the cleaning step is the most important in night skincare routine I would say. If you don't clean your make up well, your skin won't be able to absorb your essence, serum, moisturizer and others well, in result your skin will have breakouts or won't improve at all.

Back then I used Philosophy 3-in-1 Foaming Face Cleanser to clean my make up as well as wash my face. I wash my face twice at night to really clean my face, don't worry it didn't dry up my face, it's perfectly fine for me.

I used two bottles until I decided it's time to try something new. I've heard so many raves about Shu Uemura's cleansing oil, so when I was at the duty free shop at the airport and I saw the travel package or something, so basically one box contains two bottles, one is the full size and the other sis the 100ml size, also for a cheap price considering the amount I get.

I tried using the 100ml size first to test it out whether it's suitable for me or not. Short review on Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil is that it cleanses really well. However, unfortunately it doesn't suit me at all. So, I'm planning to sell the full size and currently I'm using Bioderma Sensibio, the pink one and I love it so much.

Next, will be the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence which I have discussed briefly in the previous post and I'm so glad that I found this product and that I'm using this product because this product is that good.

After the essence, next I'm using the Clinique All Eyes Serum and I love when the metal roll touches my skin, it gives my skin a cooling effect and smooth to the skin, doesn't pull my skin. Great for your eyes especially when they're tired after watching TV or staring at the computer for some time.

Lastly will be the Shiseido Ibuki Moisturizer and this moisturizer is for night time because it doesn't have any SPF in it, also the texture is lighter than the morning moisturizer and quite runny. That's why with this product, a little goes a long way. The scent is quite strong I would say, at first I'm not really used to it but now I'm loving the scent. So for some people who tend to get turned off by scent, this product may not suitable for you.

I guess that's pretty much my night skincare routine and I hope it's going to be a bit of a help for you to figure out your skincare routine in order to achieve that flawless and beautiful skin, even though myself is still figuring it out and on my way to achieve such skin.
